Sunset

The other day I saw the most beautiful sunset. We had had some cloud cover most of the day, and it was still there at sunset, so it provided a backdrop for this amazing light that was red with a pink tint. As you looked further out it changed from red to purple. I realize that this isn't very exciting in writing, but I wanted to share it because it marked an especially good day, one where (yet again) I had not accomplished much in the way of unpacking and moving in to our new apartment, but at that moment I was living in the moment, and pushing my daughter on the swing. By the way, our new apartment faces inward to a large courtyard with trees, grass, playground, and swings. We are really enjoying that, and enjoying the family community that it fosters. We have already met several of our neighbors.
