Cheerio!

Ben and I are in London right now! We moved out of our apartment, moved our stuff into storage, left the kids with his parents and flew to London for a pre-graduation trip. We pushed through the jet lag today to do a little exploring, nothing too serious like museums because we felt like zombies. We did a lot of wandering in Hyde Park and areas surrounding. Then we tried to wing it on our trip back to our flat via public transit, and spent a long time figuring out how to get home! We feel we have finally mastered using our 'Oyster cards' (the bus/subway passes are called that!). Tomorrow we plan to hit at least one museum and see some of the important historical sites. The sad part is, we didn't bring a camera out with us today! But that won't happen twice.

Ha Ha! We wanted to avoid any wedding crowds, and the first place we went was Hyde Park, only to realize that a few thousand Londoners had just finished watching the wedding on a giant screen that had been set up in the park. They were cheering, singing and dancing, and waving British flags. We really wished we had brought our camera.
