Snow Day

Between the warm fall/early winter and our thicker Idaho blood, we have really been enjoying the weather. Until today, it has only snowed in Salt Lake about 2 or 3 times. My California relatives who were in town for Thanksgiving enjoyed a snowless weekend. Well, during the night last night it dumped on us and it's still falling at midday! Father and daughter got out and played for about an hour in it. I think my favorite thing about winter is being outdoors at night with white snow on the ground and white clouds covering the sky. All is quiet, and it's dark out, yet so bright!

Yes, this snow is great! We need to find a good hill so we can go sledding. My time outside was spent shoveling the driveway and sidewalks. I still love it, though.

Snow, got to love it! Park City is covered and the skiers and snowboarders are finally happy. Yeah for snow!

We miss the snow and I can't believe that even I miss it. But I am also enjoying not having it although winter doesn't seem the same without it.
We had about two days of rain so far maybe we'll see some snow later on like last year.
Take Care,
Amanda

As much as I hate the snow, I do love a quiet evening or early morning with freshly fallen snow. It is just so peaceful.
