When Ben first suggested the name Emily for our #2 daughter, I said I wasn't sure I could go with that name because every time I thought about it, the song "E-bo-ny and Ivory" came into my head. Luckily, that tendancy has passed, but she has been called many things besides Ebony: Emma (Becca's name for her), Emmy, Emmy Lou, Emma Jean, Emmles, Baby, Crazy, Cutie, etc., etc.Emily is now 5 1/2 months old and is such a vibrant personalit
y. She smiles with her tongue sticking out, kicks and rolls over all day long, and swipes anything that comes in her radius. My personal favorites are that she eats quickly and falls asleep on her own in her crib* (I will be forever in your debt, Melinda!). I think her favorite person is her big sister Becca. Who wouldn't be entertained watching that energetic girl run here and there all day long!We are having a good time and it is so fun to see how fast she grows up and how quickly she is learning new things. Next on her list: solid foods and sitting up!!

I am so glad that I got to see you guys when you were down here. I hope to have a repeat in the near future so that I can see the new pad! Yeah for moving! See you in cali!
