We have been anxious for spring so that we could use our new tent again (it had only been used once last fall). So, two days before Easter, we overloaded our car to go overnight only a few miles from home! Lucky for us, we were only a few miles, because in the 30-something degree weather that night, and eventually all four of us in the same bed, we weren't sleeping well, and we bailed at 2 A.M.!! The evening before was fun, though, setting up camp, playing and walking, and using our camp stove for the first time to cook our dinner.

You guys are CRAZY! I can't believe you went camping with those little babies! You are so brave! (and crazy!)
You are all more brave than we are. We can't get up the courage to take the boys camping, as much as we'd like to, I don't trust them to stay out of trouble. I guess if we neber try they won't learn though, right? Kudos to you!

I remember that tent! That was a good day and some great bargains! Hopefully the next camping trip will last longer :)
